About the same time a year ago, I was pretty sure wha I wanted to do with the rest of my life. i was going to be an architect, and one day pursuit my personal dream of being a fahion designer, just like Laura from Project Runway. Now, I'm finishing up my second year at De Anza and will soon be an Aggie over at UC CowTown. My life is going in the right direction and everyone's congratulating me, but I don't completely know what I'm going to do now. Yeah, I'm majoring in Art Studio, but I still don't have a clear idea of what to do with it. I know I want to get my Master's and try to get into Cal or UCLA once again. There are so many things I could do with this degree, but damn, sooo many possibilities!
Another thing that has been on my mind is, what I think, the lack of actual artwork I'm producing. Some of my friends are cranking out work and selling them! I only have the stuff that I've done in class; no leisurely items whatsoever. This summer, I'm going to just isolate myself in my damn hotass garage and let my creative juices flow until I hit a drought. Whether it's just drawings, collages, oil paintings, something is coming out of the garage. I just really want to get some money for my work!
with much on my mind,
Ricardo Juni
